Burn Permits

Please visit the Michigan DNR website to see if open burning is allowed in your township today. You must do this every time you wish to burn vegetation or leaves. Burning when not allowed, or openly burning prohibited items like building materials, could result in a citation. If you cause a forest fire, you could be liable for all the costs of that fire.
